Best marinara substitute so far for nightshade-free diet

As others have mentioned, the texture is a bit runny. I've made my own homemade nightshade-free sauces and they can take a lot of work to get right in terms of taste and texture. This one is spot on in terms of flavoring and my go-to if I am craving something with tomato sauce. Example recipe: made an AIP-friendly chicken parm by breading chicken breast in crushed plantain chips & coconut oil, soaked with this sauce, topped with a square of coconut cheese, and enjoyed the closest thing I've had to an Italian meal in quite a while.
The only downside is that this is way too expensive for us to eat regularly. But I keep some on hand for special occasions.

For someone with a tomato allergy, I have to say I love this! Wish the price point was a bit better but what can yo expect? I recommend. It tastes sort of like the sauce in a pizza lunchables.

I can finally eat pasta again! I can't eat any nightshade foods, so this is fantastic. Great taste also. The manufacturer should be glad I'm giving them a 5 star despite the fact that my 3 pack on both the No Tomato sauce and BBQ sauces arrived broken twice in a row. They need to either come up with a better bottle (it's really thin glass and flimsy cap) or pack it better. My products arrived broken, shattered because of both reasons and/or bad packaging. I also contacted the manufacturer on social media and he hasn't replied yet. Great product, bad packaging. Thank you Amazon for selling these products. I can now eat pasta again.
Makes an amazing base for a meat sauce

So, making this with ground beef, it really tastes like legit meat sauce with tomato would. I'm getting over gastritis, and can't do tomato because of the acid, so I really like how good this is as a pasta sauce.
Without the meat it's more like 60-70% of what I would expect from tomato sauce. Given that I don't have a choice for tomato at all, that's actually pretty awesome.
Again, as a meat sauce base, it's completely freaking amazing.

This stuff is awesome if you happen to be following the aip diet! Made for a really easy meal over zucchini noodles! Tastes different than your traditional pasta sauce, but still really good!
