Bought these for a job which eats razor blades. They lasted about as expected. My only complaint would be that the locking mechanism is easily overcome in normal use, and the blade suddenly extends or retracts. If you keep your fingers clear of the button you are ok, but the tendency is to grip the tool directly by that button to improve your grip. These were OK for the price, got a dozen for a little more than the big-box office supply store charges for one.
Blade feeder mechanism is flawed. Blade does not stay at length chosen but just slides on out to whatever length.

Utility knives should be pretty straightforward to design but these manage to have a design flaw. The blades don't stay at the length you've chosen. As soon as you start cutting something, anything, the blades just extend right on out to full length. There seems to be no way to stop that. Not only irritating but I think a safety hazard as well.
Lock feature doesn’t work. Blade is ok.

Blade does an ok job and the locking feature does not lock. I use these for weeding vinyl and it makes the process quite difficult when I need to apply decent pressure and the blade pulls out or pushes back in. I've tried a few from the box and so far all have had the same issue. The blade is sharp but not as sharp or smooth to use as other I have used. Sometimes I have to make 2-3 passes for it to cut through vinyl. Will not buy again.

Man these things are cheap. The lock doesn't actually lock the blade. They barely can handle cutting packing tape. They're sharp but waaaay to flimsy. That almost makes them dangerous to use. I would not cut a box with these - they're not up to the task.

After posting this review the seller contacted me and issued a refund. They also sent me a larger model at no cast that is functional. So although this particular smaller box cutter model is still a 1 star product in my mind - the service is 5 stars. Just buy the size up from this model and you'll be good. The quality is much improved.

Got tired of misplacing metal utility knives, bought these and planted them all over! Excellent value. Blades not as strong as single or double blade knives but the breakaway blades let you have a sharp blade longer.
