I'm really happy with this cup holder adapter. It fits into my car's super slim cup holders, and it's adjustment holds it snugly in place. I like having the flexibility to move it to another cup holder of a different size.
It fits a 32oz nalgene bottle, so I expected my small travel mug to slide around in it and pop out on hard stops. But but water bottle has stayed put and so has the cup holder adapter.

This fits my horrible 2007 Toyota 4Runner cup holder that doesn't hold cups.... It is an amazing product and it cranks to fit your cup holder space. No more drinks spilling over in my car!

I bought this based on other reviews I read. I have a CamelBak 40 ounce stainless Chute with black coating and tired of driving around with my water bottle falling off the front seat. If I put the bottle in a neoprene sleeve that I strap to the seat I don't drink as much -- and I really want to use the cupholder because that's what it's made for! So I bought this one. Nice unit over all. The top is a silicone ring and the ears quickly folded in my first day; so I don't think I'll have the option for other size cups (but I don't need for other size). Factory cupholder size is average: I have a 2016 Chev Equinox and find it's a little smaller than my 2012 Camry, but both are what I consider typical size for car cupholders. The cupholder definitely sticks up alot (as shown in pictures being next to my coffee cup), but it has to in order to accommodate the bottle I am shooting for. I think it's worth the extra money over some others I saw because the base appears to be a thicker plastic than others look like they have (although I never experienced them in person) and the expanding bottom than adjusts to different size cupholders is a plus that keep my drink secure (where I read others saying some competitors feel out of cupholder with the heavy water bottles).
Why 4 stars? I feel the top silicone ring looks cheaply done. It appears to be a good grade of silicone, but the glue that attached to the cupholder appears sloppy and the fact that the ears folded in make me wonder. I would still recommend this to a friend.
