My cats hate the sound of crunching plastic
Kimberly W.•July 6, 2018
My cats hate the sound of crunching plastic, so this does the trick in keeping them off the furniture. However, these are very unattractive and I would not use them when guests are around. I get tired of looking at them, so some days I take them off and take my chances with having my cats near the "exposed" furniture. I have six cats who love to scratch things, so it is necessary to cover the furniture while I am at work, and these do the trick!
Dissatisfied

Wanted to use it as a cover for my convertible top on my car so the outside cats would stop preening themselves on it. Did not work at all...they seem to love it. I even tried scaring them with it by shaking it at them before I put it on. No go. I still use it. It's a nice size. But does not deter cats from laying on it. Disappointed
90% success rate, could be bigger.

I have 4 dogs and 3 cats and brand new furniture. This cover works well to keep the dogs off, except for my stubborn, geriatric English Bulldog. The cats couldn't care less about it, but I wasn't as worried about keeping them off the couches anyway. The only thing that kept me from giving this 5 stars was the size. I bought a large to cover the recliner, which was perfect, and an extra large for the couch, which was too small. It's not like the couch is oversized, it's average dimensions, and this product is not long enough to cover the arms and not wide enough to drape is far enough over the back to hold it in place and cover the front of the couch at the same time. I will probably try to attach some sort of weight to one side so it I won't have to drape it over the back so far.
It works!

This thing is awesome! Worked like a charm for my beagle, who kept making herself comfortable on my new leather couches. Either she's scared of the noise, or the foil,... nonetheless, she doesn't get on our couches any longer.
DOES the Job ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

Has worked great. No problems so far. Sound does not really bother my feral kitten until I fold it up and there is a lot of the sound.
Matter of fact when I'm unfolding it out to place on bed to keep her from peeing she immediately gets up on it to watch me finish. LOL 🤣 But she doesn't pee!!💜👠So I'm fine with that!!
