We got this for our 3 year old son. The excavator is really cool looking, with some detailed construction. However, it broke after our son played with it two times, he has not played with it rough or anything like that, just rolled it gently. The piece that broke was the wheel that is covered by the track so the toy is not usable any more. It does not roll any more.

Great sturdy toy for my 3 year old only drawback is the moving parts are stiff. He has difficulty in moving the arm and bucket. Other than that, very well constructed.
