The derailier has been indexed that's huge plus.
Brake adjustment wasn't exactly straightforward though. But managed to make sense after fiddling around.

- I was able to put it together in 30-45 minutes.
Cons:
- The front wheel came a little crooked so I had to have it fixed.
- It is kind of heavy as for such a small bike but no issues for riding. My daughter didn't complain about it.

Bike was amazing!!! My daughter loves it. Though is does not come with a kick stand. (We knew this) and went with amazons suggestion of the "frequently bought together" and it showed this bike with a black kick stand for about $10. So I ordered it thinking that's what everyone uses so it's fine. Wrong. It was a piece of crap that was too long for the bike and the drilled out holes were not in the correct locations so we couldn't even attach it to the bike. It went right in the trash, not even worth returning. So do your research if you want a kickstand with this beautiful sturdy bike.

My husband put two of these bikes together in a few hours and said they were not difficult to assemble. I like that they are a bit heavier than the cheaper bikes; it makes my girls stronger riding them. They don't seem to have a problem reaching the brakes with their small hands and both girls ride the bikes every day and love them.
