This is the second thermoelectric unit I've installed in my ice chests. So far, I like this one more than the first. As others have stated, it won't make the cooler contents frosty, but it will extend the time pre-chilled items maintain a chill and hold the temperature about 30 to 40 degrees cooler than the exterior ambient temperature.
