PLUSES: The Joola 4-piece Tetra Table Tennis conversion kit was delivered on time on 7/12/2018 to the Bandon, Oregon, Senior Center. On Friday, 7/13/18, it was assembled and the Bandon Mayor and I used it for the first time and loved it! MINUSES: I was mislead on Amazon/seller site into expecting that a storage/carrying case with handle was part of the advertised "4-pieces." Nowwhere I could find a list of e xactly what the "4 pieces" included! On 7/13/18, I talked to 2 Amazon customer service reps (the first one didn't understand my questions and simply kept repeating herself and was no help at all). The second rep agreed with me that the photo showing a man and carrying case with the conversion kit was very misleading! Also, the 2nd rep could not find a carrying/storage case that fit the size of the kit as I was willing to make that extra purchase.

Tetra table arrived on schedule with minimal damage. Two corners were chipped, and, since I am familiar with damage of this kind and had the tools to make repairs, I was able to restore the table to like-new condition. To avoid future corner damage I fitted each corner with a 3/4" x 1/2" metal bracket. I think Joola, the mfr., should offer these as an optional extra in the future. Also it is advisable to crib up from the pool table surface to the bottom of the Joola table top to prevent sagging. The top was easy to install per the instructions. The table produces good bounce, nearly equal to my granddaughter's stand-alone indoor Joola. And the net supports are superior to those of her table in my opinion.

This is a great product. It takes 3 minutes to set up and you don't need to sacrifice any space in your home. The surface and the bounce feels legit. There is a slit along the midline where the table folds, and it does give an irregular bounce when the ball hits the midline. It doesn't happen so often, and it kind of adds more fun to the game. I do not mind the slit at all considering how much space it allows to save.
My friends and I have been spending so much money at ping pong bars lately and we are all very happy to have this. Over one weekend, we got its money's worth. I definitely recommend this if you like to play ping pong at home but do not have an empty room for it.

I bought this to go on top of an air hockey table that I had. This was easy to set up, and with a few minor modifications, is working great for us. The air hockey table had some score keeping units attached to the top that were causing this table to not sit level. I bought some rubber spacers/feet and screwed them into the top of the air hockey table, and now this top sits nice and level. The problem there was with my air hockey table, though, so I do not hold that against this product.

I only have two minor complaints about this top. First, one of the net posts arrived completely busted. In reading other reviews, I see that this is a common occurrence. I contacted Joola, and within a few days, had a replacement net set in my mailbox. Super easy, and the service was great. Just be prepared for that possibility. The second is that the seam that runs along the center length of the table, which is where the hinges are on the underside, causes the two sides to be very slightly uneven. This is so small that you can't even really tell by looking at it, but if you run your hand along it, you can feel it. Every once in a while, the ball will hit it just right and it changes the trajectory direction of the ball. It makes us laugh, and our new house rule is that when that happens, we just laugh and call "SEAM!" and replay the shot. A super minor inconvenience - if you're playing competitive championship-level table tennis, you're not looking at this item anyway - but just be aware.

Overall, I'm very glad I purchased this, and we are enjoying it immensely!

My husband and son having been playing table tennis on pieces of plywood balanced across sawhorses, so this was a great improvement. Since we aren't using this on top of a pool table, stability is a bit of an issue, but here is how we managed it: Two inexpensive folding tables placed near each end plus a premium net that clips on with heavy spring clips. This net system keeps the center of the table firm while the folding tables hold each side up. They can play on the back porch and it doesn't take too much effort to fold it all away. Plus, the whole thing is easier to store that an actual table tennis table. The net that came with the conversion top was cheap and one of the posts was absolutely crushed in transit, but I haven't requested a replacement because we really needed something better to help with stability.
