I bought these because I have an old house that was built somewhat below grade. As a result, when it rains really hard or my wife parks the car in the garage covered with slush and snow, the water pools on the Garage floor. These tiles allow me to walk around in the garage and stay dry. These tiles are super durable; they get driven on and don't crush. They allow the water to dry, unlike a Rubber Mat or other solid tile. My only two observations that could be considered less than perfect are, 1. they are very slippery when you walk on them with wet feet. 2. They are hard to separate (who wants them coming apart anyway).

Love this item. Easy to put together and makes the garage look really good. I used a razor blade to cut my tiles to size. It some pretty good elbow strength but it made clean cuts.
