Great replacement for incandescents

The bulbs are a great replacement to the original incandescent. Very similar in appearance to the original, seemingly well crafted and produce a brighter/whiter light. Very impressed with the packaging upon arrival. Received packages from other companies that bulbs were broken in thin cardboard boxes. These arrived individually wrapped in bubble wrap and box inside a box lined with foam. No broken bulbs.
Visually compatible with older incandescent outdoor strings already in use, but with big power savings.

String is virtually identical to an earlier purchase from Costco, with big difference because of the LED bulbs. The Brightech bulbs aresame form-factor as earlier incandescent bulbs, with similar color temperature, allowing LEDs to be substituted for incandescent bulbs as they fail. Also, because of the very low power requirement of the Brightech LEDs, I was able to string five 50' strings of 24 bulbs each together, well under the 15 amp line limit.

I used these LED bulbs to replace the regular bulbs that came with some commercial grade string lights that I have installed around the perimeter of the loading dock at my warehouse apartment. The bulbs are a little bit whiter than ideal for me (my preference is a warmer golden type light) but I was able to approximate this look with the addition of a dimmer cord and am very satisfied with result. The Edison styling of these LED bulbs is terrific, Brightech's customer service is top notch. and the bulbs were affordable. Thumbs up. I realize that the color of the light is just a personal preference, but I mention it because it is the only factor that prevented me from awarding all five stars.

Good quality, very bright. Bought these to replace old incandescent bulbs in outdoor string lights that are up year round. The strands were from Costco (feit electric) and they have held up well, but I recently bought another from Costco and they are LED. The Costco LED ones are much dimmer, more amber, and already have water inside some of the bulbs...so I decided just to replace the bulbs, and these from Bright Tech were less expensive and a better quality. We will see how long they last compared to the incandescent, but they have to be less expensive to run.
Good bulbs but a little on the bright side

I love my outdoor light string for when I put the dog out late at night but I was thinking that it was running my electric bill a little higher than I wanted so I ordered the LED lights to replace the original lights. I just put them in the string a week or so ago. I am hoping that these will bring down my electric bill a bit. I find that these LED bulbs are a little brighter than the original but I really don't mind. I have thought about purchasing an outdoor dimmer to bring the brightness down a bit. So far I have not found a dimmer with good ratings yet.
