It worked fine for about 5 weeks (1 week after the 30-day return policy). Suddenly it stopped working. I am very anal about taking care of cables, and this one was no exception. It no longer works, and my phone no longer recognizes it. I tried to contact the seller, but when I click on the link I get a "no longer available" message. The product was not expensive, but it's not like there are expensive versions of this cable either. So, I don't have any other cables to compare. Still, this is something that I should be able to expect to work much longer than 40 days.

**Update** on watching a couple of tutorials I was able to make it work despite the accessory not supported warning that a user gets on IPhones. Bumping the rating to 4 stars. They should put a disclaimer mentioning the same

When I first received the cable it look like it was well made . But I didn't get to use it until about a week later... when I used it on my mavic and did not even connect I tried later on using it on a separate phone no luck .the wire does not work

The cable I got was DOA. The design was okay but the quality control is suspect because this cable was electrically bad. I bought this for my phone and another brand for my tablet. The other brand worked fine on both devices. Therefore, it was not a matter of user error.

Bought one of these and it worked well so I bought a second one for backup, on my 5th flight with this I lost video and brought it back and landed, couldn't get video so put the back up cable on and the video worked well, took it off and put the old cable on and still couldn't get video. Will use my backup cable till new cables arrive, won't buy this one again. It should have lasted a lot longer and I was very careful with it, not sure where the problem is but will have to use a aftermarket cable till dji makes one long enough for a ipad
