I'm honestly impressed by this coffee flavor. I love coffee and was a bit hesitant to try this particular kind of coffee because I didn't know how much of the mushroom taste I was going to taste. To my surprise there is no mushroom taste. It's just coffee with the benefits of the mushroom. It made me feel energetic and ready for my day.

I love coffee and haven't been able to enjoy it in a long time due to coming to the realization that regular coffee causes me to have racing heartrate/jitters and headaches. Unlike some people who drink coffee for the energy, I drink it because I love the taste and aroma and so being without it did make me miss it very much. There would be occasional times when I would indulge in a nice cup only to regret it later with the negative side effects. I even tried switching to decaf and cheaper brands to not have such a strong negative side effect to caffeine, but nothing has worked...until now. I gave this brand a chance for about 3 weeks now and I can say that I have not once had the dreadful coffee crash I have had in the past and I can enjoy a cup of coffee. I was worried I wouldn't like the flavor, but everything tastes great to me and the smell is wonderful. I even use a bit in my protein shakes. I would definitely recommend this brand to those looking to enjoy coffee who can't drink regular coffee and I look forward to purchasing more in the future.

You cannot taste mushrooms at all. This has a lovely natural texture like "regular" coffee, brews the same, and tastes no different than normal Colombian coffee, as far as I can discern.
I've made it as pour-over, French press, placed in a reusable keurig cup and brewed that way, and cold brewed it in my fridge overnight and every way tastes same as other normal coffee, with no discernible mushroom flavor that I can detect.

However, I don't get the bloating feel from this as badly, and definitely don't feel the acidity that regular coffee has that bothers me sometimes.

The caffeine perk seems to affect me smoother, with no sharper peak and fall like coffee usually does, so I'm not getting that sluggish crash that usually leaves me wanting an afternoon nap.

I'm likely to replace my regular coffee with this, and others like it, for variety. It was the first mushroom coffee I've tried, and I am very pleased with it.

This is my second bag, and although it does wonders for my belly (it's literally medicinal for me), the grounds are so fine, they have caused my in-laws' Keurig, and now our coffee maker, to overflow. Not sure what the answer is on this, and as it's happened more than once, I'm surprised no one else has noted this issue.

Re: a lead warning on the package, neither of mine have indicated that.

And re: people who dislike the taste, I mix mine with a little bit of flavored coffee, and it's great.

I had seen a few promos on Instagram and other social media touting the 'benefits' of "Mushroom Coffee," and decided to learn more prior to placing my first order for this excellent product!

- It was hard to believe that the amazing health benefits of both Chaga and Lion's Main Mushrooms could be transformed into a finely grained coffee product.

- At first I believed the 'coffee' was only made with mushrooms, but learned that is not accurate. I then discovered that is REAL coffee from coffee beans ,and the dried mushrooms are blended and shipped into an airtight bag. Hence the smooth taste and very pleasant aroma.

From my first brew, I liked the taste. Not as 'harsh' nor acidic as the Folger's or Maxwell House that I usually brew in my Kerig or Mr. Coffee.

Within a short time, perhaps within 20 or 30 minutes I felt more focused and alert, but not jittery. I brewed 2 cups within 15 minutes and I feel exceptional. Not with a sudden 'burst' of energy. Quite the opposite. It is a gradual yet very subtle and pleasant feeling. Nothing medicinal.

The taste was enjoyable and I added some half and half liquid creamer and organic blue agave in lieu of sugar or stevia.

I paid $16.97 and while more than a much larger commercial or store brought national brand, I feel that I received a great value plus unique new experience for my first time using this very nice product.
