Seems very well build would actually have expected it to cost more. Finished with two coats of cedar natural stain and it is beautiful. Realize will need to be restained every couple of years.
Directions are not very good and would need a tad of common sence to put together but not really hard to figure but one does need to stop and observe where screws vs pegs go.

I purchased this swing as a replacement for a homemade swing that finally wore out. This swing is very nice, of substantial weight (not flimsy) and is easy to put together, fortunately, because the directions are a joke. There are only pictures to go by, and the drawings are very small too, you will need a magnifying glass to see them. The box arrived pretty beat up (courtesy of Fedex) so I was amazed, and grateful, that the swing wasn't damaged in shipping. It isn't packaged very well for shipping (manufacturer take note). I hung this swing on a metal frame, so the chains that were included were more than adequate, I actually had to shorten and remove quite a bit of chain. I am going to put a coat or two of polyurethane on the swing to protect the wood finish as my swing will be outside in the elements, instead of under a porch. Looking forward to many years of use from it.
