Nice grip to the surface-just need to add my pop socket! Has portal covers to keep your phone jack and charger ports clean. We shall see how long this lasts-it's replacing an ORIGINAL phone case that fit a 3 or 4 phone that we bought at the Apple store when our 39 year old got her first iphone!!! First time I am using a clear case so you can see the pretty rose gold color of my phone ;)

I like this clear case because I like to cut out small photos and display them between the case and my phone. This is very flexible and durable. It has little flaps to cover the charging and headphone ports so that they stay clean. The raised outer rim provides protection for my phone's screen. I'm very happy with this purchase. I would definitely buy it again!

This replaces the best case I've had so far: a $1 jobber which lasted nearly 3 years and saved my phone from several falls onto ceramic tile, wood, and asphalt. Alas, that cheapie-but-goodie is no longer available, as the first generation iPhone SE (same size as the iPhone 5 at just under 5" long) is no longer the latest thing. So, I'm not comparing this new case to an Otter or any such fancy goods.
-- This does **NOT** fit the current 2020 SE model. It fits the older, first generation SE.
-- It has nicely rounded bumpers on the corners.
-- Not too bulky, so phone still fits in jeans pockets.
-- Slightly grippy feel, but not gummy or tacky; so expect it to slide off a hard surface.
-- If you don't like the wee port covers, cut 'em off. Otherwise, not hard to hold the flaps aside to insert a charging cord or bud jack; but you may need two hands.
-- Works fine with any of my charging cords that have a nice, stiff collar at the end (e.g. Anker 6ft Premium Nylon Lightning Cable).
-- Not hard to take on and off while new. Material might stiffen up over time, of course.
-- Does not prepare taxes, clean the kitchen, feed the dog, nor establish world peace. Dang.
6x the cost of my beloved dollar store case, but probably about 25% better.

Recently bought this case for my SE since now I'm using it to store music. The clear case is very light and slim and you do have access full access to the lighting port and audio jack without any complications. The extra protection for the lighting and audio jack is a great addition to the case. I don't mind two speaker holes that are covered by the case"¦I'm not going to miss them.
It does not feel bulky at all and I like how it feels in the hand. The case has the same shape as the SE, in other words, it's like not having a case on your phone! Thumbs up! I wish the product came with screen protectors as a bonus, but it does not. Other than that great case!
