If you are just learning how to mix and track drums, these exceeded my expectations. They hold up so well, if not better than mic sets for drums that cost hundreds more. The perfect starter kit. Best tip I would give is to have a good interface with gain control

This mic works well. The element is actually the size of an SM58 but there is frequency shaping circuitry in the housing. It does what it's supposed to do, mic a kick drum with little EQ needed.

This actually works quite well as a FLOOR TOM microphone. I know that sounds strange, why don't you just strap an SM57 on the floor tom? I'm serious, try this microphone out for your floor tom. It also works equally well for a bass cabinet where you would like to capture a bit more mid range than usual (think Jazz, or speed metal).
Bad condenser mics

The mics sound great and loud I had to fix my mixer to lower them.. but my only issues is after one day of use at my church the two condenser mics stop working and I needed them for my cymbals and high hat.. I am very disapointed and now i don't have cymbal mics I was thinking about ordering two more from here to replace the bad ones but what's the point I can't teust that it won't stop working again
