Okay, so I never imagined that I'd be hosting karaoke parties at my house, but it's a reality now! We're in the 50-and-older crowd, and all of our friends say, "Sure, I'll come and watch," but soooo many end up joining us! I'm using Karafun for the music and words (cheap and TONS of original songs) on the iPad and casting it to the TV through Apple TV. I use the headphones out of my receiver to send sound to the Rockville, so the speaker has both music and vocals.
It's loud! We crank it almost all the way up, and I'm really impressed with the unit's ability to "crank it to 11" without distorting the speaker or blowing the unit.
It's not easy to operate, however. I have a bit of an A/V background, so I'm okay, but I know none of my family members would be comfortable getting it setup correctly.
Nevertheless, all our friends LOVE to party with us. We crank all the great karaoke old-school jams (who doesn't like singing Jesse's Girl??), break out some drinks, a few props, and sing the night away.

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas. I wanted something that was loud, easily connected to phones, laptops, and even our smart TVs. It really is everything I hoped it would be! It's SO loud that it set off my glass break sensor (it was the speaker, not my singing 🎤). We've had SO much fun with this machine already. And the best part is he can easily bring it to my house too! Only Cons I can think of is 1. It auto connects to the last connected device. And then you have to figure out which device it was and disconnect it. And 2. When you put the mics in the holders, it can easily turn the mic on and drains the batteries. But overall, I am extremely pleased with the purchase and would gladly buy again!

I initially left a poor review, I could not get the unit to work, but I reached out to the company and they were very kind. They explained how to connect everything and how to get it to function. The manual is not very straight forward for laymen, but when I explained it to my husband he understood how it all worked. I'm very grateful to the company.
