The bore size is a problem in my own opinion

I bought these for a new quadcopter build. When they arrived I noticed that the shafts were fairly large and were keyed. Using a pair of calipers, I measured the OD of the shaft size and found that it was roughly 7.7mm. I then searched for 1045 props as suggested in the Q and A section of the listing. I found nothing with a bore size of 7.7mm. So, I decided to ask the seller for a recommendation for 1045 props that would fit these motors. His response was 1045 props... Ummm I know that, the bore size.... I ended up buying a set of carbon fiber props that had a 7mm bore size and reaming the bore to the correct ID. A pain, but it worked. It would be nice if the seller would have responded appropriately with correct prop suggestions. I guess you get what you pay for. I will be upgrading these motors to something more standard. What a hassle.

Motors are ok. I am using 4x of those for my X525 Frame with 10x45 props.
*BUT* Had to re-solder two motors connectors (total 4 connectors fixed), they came with a really bad solder job, I could tell whoever did the cut of the insulation prior to solder, also did cut 4 of 5 conductor threads. So those two motors had no "punch".
Made me lost maybe 4 hrs, after checking/recalibrating ESC's, Removing heat shrink (which by the way was correctly installed, hiding the problem)
After the solder job, Voila!
Honestly, I don't know if will order again, still mixed feelings, the motors have endured a pair of very ad crashes without any damage. Maybe luck ? Maybe they are sturdy?

Whats the point in selling motors without appropriate fastenings? Now have to look elsewhere to get them. Not happy.
Standard aircraft propellers must be modified to work on these motors

My application is a custom quad using 9" propellers. I was not aware these motors require custom DJI style propellers to mount to the shaft. I was able to drill out the propeller shafts I normally use and make it work ok.
After 2 flights one motor shorted internally. Burned insulation on one coil and smoked. I ordered another set.
