This is my second set of these. I ordered a set of these before, thinking that it was worth a shot to see how good they are before buying more and well, I came back for more. The other set still works great too, but we use up to six of these on set at a time and I am always worried that a guest is going to place there chair on the cable or walk off with it still on. These are at a price that I don't worry anymore.
A great little mic package for the price.

This mic is decent for the price. Build quality is good and it comes with an extra ("dead cat") wind screen, which helps reduce rumble in breezy conditions. It's an all-metal build with good sound. While you will experience improved sound quality from higher priced mics, this does a great job for the price.
Not ideal for Broadcast or Podcast. Too sensitive.

It sounds as good as my expensive studio condenser mic, BUT it is TOO sensitive. It picks up room noise worse than my studio condenser does too. And that's a bad thing in most situations. It is NOT ideal for broadcasts or podcasting as it said on the description when I bought it. Maybe conference calls and musical applications. I actually think it would make a nice mic for recording vocals and acoustic instruments, but I already have a mic for that so I returned the Comica for a refund.

I gave it two stars on the outside possibility that I just don't know what I'm doing. But they certainly do not work as well as other lavalier mics I've used over the years. These picked up EVERYTHING. It was a nightmare of indiscriminate sound. If you expect to be able to attach these to someone's shirt collar and walk away, don't buy these.
