Purchased an 8 pack. Gave a few away to friends. The first one that was connected to blue tooth the battery died in 2 days. I did connect another one and after it paired the app said that battery was critically low. Luckily I ordered batteries after the first one said it was low. They do replace a battery once it fails but it says it is FREE but don't tell you how much shipping and handling is until you put your CC information. I didn't get that far. I need to know up front how much it will cost. Then I couldn't empty the cart. So now I have 3 batteries in my cart and can't edit the cart. I can't change the quantity nor empty my cart. Seems like a bug in the software.
The Pixel says it is loud. I disagree with that. It's NOT loud. If it was in a pocket of ones clothes I'm not sure you would be able to find it.
I'm kind of disappointed with the battery ordering and also disappointed how "loud" it is. At least could see where it is on the map if i every lose them. Also if you have left it when you are away from home, you could ask the Pixel community to find. Haven't used that yet and hope that I never do!
I watched a review on You Tune and was convinced that the Pixel was the one to buy. This is the only Bluetooth tracker that I have so can't compare with anything else.
Replacing the battery is also a little cumbersome. Kind of difficult twisting the back off to replace the battery but you kind of have to expect it with the device being so small.

I bought the trackr Pixel for my drone.
I also bought a Tile mate, but returned it because the pixel had a better range/ was smaller/& best of all the battery is replacable!
I would much rather buy a 4 pack of batteries @ the dollar store for a buck, & get years of use, then buy a tile mate every year for 20 bucks!
Plus the Pixel has LED lights as well as sound.
Also, if you are out of range, when you walk in range, it conected much quiker the the tile.
As for drone use,if you lose it in the woods in a tree, you would walk to were you last saw it,then wait a few seconds & see if it connects, then push locate.
If you cant connect, you simply move over a few feet & try agian till you connect.
It's blue tooth so your range is only 100 feet, but I've had a drone in a tree 10 feet from my face before this pixel, & it took me an hour to find it, I'm thinking I should paint my drone bright orange!
My drone is small & not able to lift a heavy GPS unit, that will find it miles away, but if you have a "Hobby grade" drone like me, you only have like a 500 foot range of controll over the drone anyway, so unless you are flying in a tornado that might suck it off to to the next state, this will be an awsome low cost tracker.
If Trackr ever makes a small/cheap GPS locator, & I hit the lottery & can afford a "kick butt" real drone that can deliver groiecers to my Mom, I will be the first to buy one.
Oh, 1 more thing, they offer free batteries, & they are actually free!
I thought they were gonna charge a $9.99 shipping/ handling charge, but that's not the case, I feel guilty but I ordered one & they actually sent it!.
I'm not gonna order another BC I feel bad that I made them send it, & all the work & shipping they had to kick in.
I'm gonna buy them 4 @ a time @ Dollar tree, so I don't "burn in hell" LOL.
I've never wrote a review before, but it took me an entire night to watch dozens of Utube videos to make the choice of the pixel.
So I hope this saves you time in your search.

Works well for me. I like it better than Tile.

This type of device has, in my research, mixed reviews over the last several years. I feel this performs well, lights up which aids in finding things, and allows you to customize a ringtone for your phone.
I did get crowd reports on my wallet when in my house. That could have been someone walking past my home. In anycase, you can turn off crowd locate.
Sometimes it unpairs (overnight) you can always check that they are paired before you leave.
I like that it lights up in addition to making a sound, and you can customize your phone to ring with any song you have on iPhone.
I've seen complaints that it isn't loud enough, but I can hear it from a room away. When I had it buried in a pocket of my purse with a microfiber cloth on top, I couldn't hear it. I moved it to my wallet and place that on top of my purse.
The tone of Trackr is better than the first Tile I bought. I disliked the Tile sound so much that I returned the four I purchased. Trackr is less bulky than the Tile.
I needed tech support. I used their chat and they go me in touch with a human being in the Santa Barbara area of CA. I ended up unpairing and repairing and things were good.
I like that these have replaceable batteries. They recently sent me 5 for the 5 I have.

Huge Time Saver

These things have saved me a life time of looking for the stuff I always lose: keys, pagers, wallets, backpack, pistols, Bluetooth ear-buds. For example, I recently lost my earbuds thinking they were at home. I went to the Gym and notice the tracker app showed they were nearby. I pressed the locate button and the tracker on the buds started chirping. The gym lady dug them out of lost and found and I was reunited. it does help that honest people turn things like that in. These trackers use Bluetooth to connect to your phone. When you phone is connected, using GPS mapping it makes a note when they last connected so if for example your wallet falls out of your pocket at the movie theater, you can see where they last connected by looking at the app. If you have separation alerts on, once you walked out of Bluetooth range of your wallet, it would alert you to that. Another thing these do is there is a little button on the tracker that you can press and if your phone is in Bluetooth range, it will play a sound to help you locate your phone.
Now the not so good. Battery life is not long. Be aware that these are creating a Bluetooth connection to your phone so battery drain happens. The durability is not great. Part of the appeal of these is to make a chirping sound when you press the locate button. The lights will flash, however, no chirp. I think me banging it around caused the chirper to go bad. I gave my daughter one for her school backpack and when she came home one weekend, it was in pieces.
WHAT THIS DOES NOT DO!!! Don't think that you can track your lost dog or cat by attaching one of these to it's collar. It is not a GPS tracker. Also, don't get too hopeful if you have something stolen and you think you can go get your stuff back. There is a crowd sourcing feature but that depends on the tracker passing close enough to another trackR user that has crowdsourcing turned on and the thief hasn't pulled the tracker off.
Right now, these have saved me a lot of searching time, frustration and worry so changing the batteries frequently is a good trade-off. Amazon does sell a blister pack of 10 Chinese made batteries for relatively cheap.

Pixel has helped me find my misplaced stuff
Dave<M✓ Verified Purchase•January 13, 2024
I can attest these Pixels will help you find something you misplaced. What you are looking for must be close by since the devices connect to your phone via Bluetooth. The app will also tell you the last location when you phone was near to the Pixel. Keep in mind that you need to keep the app open all the time if you want this feature to work.
I recommend testing all your Pixels about once per month as the batteries have somewhat limited life. However, you can hit a button in the app or contact customer service and they send you a free battery replacement.
Also, I have had malfunction where one of my Pixels stopped working. They sent me a replacement Pixel. After about 1 year of use, I now have another Pixel malfunctioning. Customer support sent me a long list of troubleshooting steps, but to no avail. I'm assuming their going to send me another replacement.
So, in summary, I love using these to find something that I misplaced. However, sometimes the hassle of frequent battery swaps and now 2 Pixels malfunctioning makes me wonder if these are really worth the trouble.
