Works ok but do NOT get this for a 2011 to 2017 Leaf, which is where I originally intended to use it. The arm (neck) is too long and the holder will basically bump up and rub against the black plastic of the center stack. On the SV and SL trims, it's shiny piano black plastic and will thus mar it. Cup holder and HVAC stack positions are the same for 2011 to 2017 Leaf.

It might work better in a 2018 as the cup holders were moved MUCH further back and away from the HVAC stack.

I ended up using it on my 2006 Prius, which I hardly drive. However, I semi-agree with the "top critical review" which said
"Unfortunately it has one major flaw for iPhone 6 users, The mount (Two prongs that hold the phone) is directly over the headphone port, My car stereo has no Bluetooth capabilities, So it renders this mount useless basically..." It's not totally useless.

I also was using an iPhone 6 and my 06 Prius has no Bluetooth A2DP music streaming (A2DP standard wasn't done yet) so I was using the headphone jack. Yes, the prongs block the headphone jack and the prongs can't be moved. iPhone 6s will have the same issue. However, if you just plug in a cable into the headphone jack and close to left and right sides as much as possible (yes, the left prong will be against the aux cable's connector), it'll hold the phone ok.

If you move onto phones that have no headphone jack (e.g. iPhone 7 and beyond), this becomes a non-issue as the only connector you'll have at the bottom is Lightning which is in the middle and not blocked.

I took back at least 3 other types to another well known store ( a window one with a sticky seal that I did buy on Amazon, another goose neck with window suction, and the air vent holder style) - hated them all for various reasons. Hard to find a cup holder one and yes, you do lose the cup holder when using...........BUT, I only wanted for using Google Maps and when I use that app, I was putting my cell phone into the cup holder anyway and picking up when I needed to glance at map closer. What I love about this cup holder one is the profile is low, the bottom part that goes into cup holder is completely adjustable with a twist of a part of it while in the cup holder so you can easily get a perfect fit. Also like the button that opens the cell phone holder part- it doesn't just snap open but goes open as if it is electronically done, really neat. Everybody's car is different and the middle sections different so I can't vouch for it working in all cars. My shift automatic handle is in the middle and also the emergency brake handle, plus the 2 cup holders and works fine.

Fits our needs perfectly. My work requires me to take the phone in and out of the car frequently and this product provides easy and quick support of my phone as well as variable placement for easy viewing. Thanks!

I really want to love this product but it just doesn't fit great in my car- I need it to rotate back a little bit but my dash is preventing it from doing so it's a little hard to see the screen of there is a glare. It's slightly wobbly too even at the tightest setting and I've tried the silicone cup holder insert that came with my car. I'm keepin got bc I need something to keep me hands free and to use navigation but will keep looking for something better. Unfortunately in the rav 4 there isn't anywhere that the phone can really mount in the dash bc it's so curved so I was looking for the cup holder mounts to resolve.

I like it. It doesn't feel cheap.

Facts:
It holds my Nexus 6 which is in a bulky case.
I tested in my 2013 Toyota Sienna and it was in an excellent position.

It holds steady in the cup holder drawer. Firm grip to the cup holder. It wobbles slightly only due to the cup holders moves.
I like the arm of the device being so tall since it elevated the phone high enough to glance at it while driving.
It doesn't block the charging cable.
My radio was not blocked.

Also tested in my 2013 Hyundai Genesis sedan and it was also in a nice spot to glance at while driving.

Initial impression...we got a winner. I'll update next month about durability.
