Nice features, good sound quality for an inexpensive and compact unit

If this machine lasts for several years, I will be satisfied. It has all the sounds I could want, and the inclusion of a "brown noise" option is a big plus. Many white noise options sound tinny and shrill to me, so I found the brown noise setting to be the easiest and most pleasant blocking noise to sleep with. I'm not overly-sensitive to looped sound tracks and did not detect them on the ocean waves and bubbling creek settings. I was able to get comfortable and fall asleep to the water sounds, but it was a gradual process starting with the volume set low. In time, these may become my favorite settings. I find volume knobs to me more user-friendly than push buttons -- another plus for this machine. The unit is compact and lightweight, so it should be very travel-friendly. The nightlight feature is cool and could be handy in new surroundings.The construction quality seems high for this price point, so I'll rate the value as very good...unless it breaks in a few months! In a noisy world, this may help to improve your sleep quality -- as long as outside disturbances aren't too loud to mask.

I was looking for a sound machine includes variety of sounds with a night light and this machine fits both of my needs. The first thing I notice when I turn on this machine is the quality of the sound. It is very soothing and I enjoy it as a background noise without having going to sleep. It also has a good sound masking ability which helps me block the street noise at night and early morning. Overall I am happy with this sleep sound machine and will probably buy another one for the guest bedroom.

Nice product. My only dislike is that five of the sounds are too much water-involved and did not do much for me. Sounded too much like there was a broken water pipe somewhere in the house. One sound of birds chirping was hard to hear and an hour of that would drive me crazy. That left two lullaby songs that I ended up using. Just didn't think the available choice of sounds were inadequate. There should be a better assortment.

I personally don't sleep early even though i know how much sleeping early helps you a lot with your health and your focus on daily activities. I decided to get this product so I could actually start a new habit of sleeping early. I've been using this for two nights already and it seems to do its job well. The light was supposed to help your brain produce more of those "sleepiness" thingy so you can slowly wanting to sleep. There are 8 sleeping sounds settings for you to pick. I like most of them except the thunder sound hahah. Anyways, I would recommend this to anyone who'd like to start a new habit of sleeping early.
