I just got this today so I can't speak to the growing powers just yet but I really like it! The assembly instructions were pretty straightforward.

The only thing is it's not made of wood. It's some sort of reconstituted material *shrug*.

I'm thinking about applying some contact paper to spruce it up a bit since it's all white but we'll see.

Hopefully it will help me grow my cute little plant babies!

I'm still on the fence with this - it looks great and modern. However I think it's only ideal to have really short/low plants in it (such as succulents). I put a small 2" plant underneath it and the leaves kept wilting - the pot felt warm to touch and I realized the light is pretty hot. I'm sure it could burn your plants if they're taller. I tried to sprout some seeds under it, which worked but moss/mold grew so fast on the soil because of the warmth even though I turned it off at night, and aired out the humidity tray. I think I'll just bring it to work to keep a few succulents in.

I work graveyard which makes it hard to keep plants in the house, and I can never put any in the windows since my cats just so happen to love to munch on them. I was so happy when I saw there was a product like this. It came right on time and seems to made pretty decently too and was easy to put together. Light seems to come on and work just fine too so far, but I've only let it be on for a few minutes just to test it. I cant wait to go buy some succulents to put under this light, I missed having plants in my room.

No timers. It is not very big. But it is easy to set up and uses, 5 min tops, and the plants love the light. My bonsai needed 4 hours of direct sunlight. So, I leave it on over night and off in the morning. Simple.

I'm using this grow station to provide lighting for my succulent collection. I've purchased 2 of these and it's been a bit of a learning curve. I assumed I could put any type of succulent in here and everything would be great. Yeah ... no. Both my Aloes and my Haworthia do not care for this grow light. We have some severely light stressed plants here. My aloes have changed from a lovely green to a muddy brown. Same with the Haworthia.

However, my Echeveria and my Crassulas are loving it. I think my cactus likes it too but who can tell with those guys? I am getting amazing color and growth. So for those types of succulents these stations are great.

Putting the stations together was simple once I figured out that you need to "wiggle" the pieces in place. Don't try and jam them in, it won't work and you might break a piece. The timer works perfectly but it's hard coded which means you can't change the duration of the time it's on unless you override that with another timer. The default setting is 16 hours on, 8 hours off.

Overall, this is a great little product providing you choose your plants carefully.
