For all those having trouble with the "universal" connector.....I left the blower tube attached to the power head and installed 4 sturdy hexhead screws, 2 each top and bottom, near the end of the tube and problem solved. I actually dangle the blower from the extensions and it never comes off. I've got a few blowers, and the tubes in general area pain, but the screws and some duct tape at the joints make the task easy

After assembly I turned it on and immediately the attachment blew off on low speed. Took a plastic tie wrap and tightened it real good and had my wife hold the connection while I used the wand on eves. This worked well. My blower is a black and decker and I felt I should not have had to jury rig it. Though I will not send it back and will just use it as is, I would not buy it again. Others have had the same problem.
