I love the flavor of this all purpose seasoning. I used it on steamed veggies like broccoli and cauliflower. I also added some to my steak and eggs. There's no need for salt when using this product because the flavor is already there.

I was contacted by Seller MY ERROR ! The date on bottle clearly states above it DD/MM/YR "”- as I have never encountered this sequence ( almost always month/ day/yr). My bottle is good until Aug 2,2024.
I received this item 2 days after ordering it arriving on January 8 as you can see from the picture it is only good until February 8. ONLY 5 weeks!!! It is important to note this product does not need refrigeration until it is opened. It is a fermented product so maybe that is why it has such a short shelf life. I wanted to send it back, but it is ineligible for product return. I wish something would have told me that it has such a short shelflife.

I like to put this in soups, over steamed vegetables (fresh or frozen) - has a very good flavor. Adds just enough salty spice to the food. Nice mixture with low sodium soy sauce, coconut amino or low sodium tamari sauce to marinate tofu. Nice to add to miso for a savory broth soup.

I bought this on a whim and I am thrilled at the amount of depth in flavor this adds to soups/stirfrys/etc. It's a really versatile product that I've been using as a substitute for fish sauce, a less salty alternative to soy sauce, etc. It's a great ingredient to buy and use this even if you aren't vegan/vegetarian. Will be buying consistently. I wish they sold much larger bottles!
