It lives up to the name! I requested a 20 oz., it came in exactly as ordered. It's a Game Changer for sure! Needs just a little wd40 lightly wiped on the screw to stop the squeaking while screwing it together. That went away completely! It is smooth everytime I take it apart or put it together now. Solid Performance!

Gave this to my husband for Christmas and he loves it. I have no idea how it works but he says that the breaks have much better spread and have added to his game.

I purchased this McDermott Sledgehammer Break cue and it has improved my breaks and upped my game. It appears to transfer a lot more of the energy from the cue into the cue ball which then makes the cue ball hit the rack a lot harder. It makes you want to apply more energy into your break shots which increases your dispersal of the balls in the rack. I tried switching back and forth between the Sledgehammer and my regular cue on breaks and there is a noticeable difference in the impact and dispersal of the racked balls.
I can't compare the Sledgehammer to any other brand of break cues because I am so happy with this one that I have no interest in trying any other break cues. The cue was safely and securely packaged and arrived in excellent condition. I would highly recommend this cue and this seller. FIVE STARS!!!!
