I've put these on a couple of times, these were the easiest.

I wanted to downgrade this review because of their use of USPS to deliver them but I decided that was petty. It was an issue, however. They were shown as one day delivery and they did not even "attempt" delivery until the second day. I am pretty sure the attempt was just to look at the box and decide they didn't want to deal with it. I was home when they said they attempted delivery and I did not hear or see them. The box is about 8 feet long and a little heavy. But I was able to go on line and say I wanted to pick them up at the local post office and I got the the next morning. So 3 days. But the bars were packaged well and seem sturdy and well designed, especially for the price. I did not understand at first that they mount with a 1/2 inch bolt in each end going into brackets bolted to the frame of the truck. The brackets are made of steel more than 1/8 thick and have gussets to help them be stiff. The 3 inch tubes are not terribly heavy but seem heavy enough to support anybody. I see very little flex when I put my 200 lbs on them. I have no concerns. I also like the fact there is some space between the bar and the truck so you can get your foot on it. I don't really need the bars but my daughter in law wanted them and I noticed a shorter guy I gave a ride struggled a little. Seems like a good deal to me. Installation is not super simple but isn't really bad either. There are 3 different sizes of bolts and I had to fish one through the frame (on each side) but they give you the fish wire and it wasn't tough.

I think my review will follow suit with the majority of the others on here: (2018 Ram Crew Cab) The product quality is pretty good. It is a very light-weight metal so I am not sure yet how durable it is, but I stood my 280lb body on it and it supported me just fine. The install instructions are fine, if you are able to 'read' directions without much picture support. I usually prefer a solid set of directions with pictures to mimic the written directions, but I was able to get through install by being patient and re-reading many times as I went along. The body bolt removal was a pain. I had to go to the local Auto Zone and pick up a breaker bar and a metric socket. My truck is new, so the bolt wasn't too hard to remove with the breaker bar, although I could see it rusting and causing a problem later. It took me about 2 hours to work through the instructions and install the driver side, and then once everything made sense, the passenger side took about 25 minutes. I couldn't find any install videos for this specific nerf bar, so keep that in mind if you feel you might need internet support. Once installed they look great.

This product is what it is for the price point "¦ not very sturdy though ..pretty flimsy
