This is an excellent little sharpener for personal use. I have used it 10-15 times each week for the last month and it seems to be holding up well. The size is nice and it produces an excellent point. it is also easy to clean.

I believe Muji is a Japanese company, but this was manufactured in China. It's misleading in the product description. Having said that, the quality seems excellent, and it works great.

This actually sharpens without eating the pencil and you get a nice long point. I have gone through to many pencil sharpeners recommended by this or that colorist and they all fail. This one was recommended by a professional botanical artist who uses colored pencils. Yes, it's made in China. It's plastic. Treat it gently
