As always, McAfee manages to screw up your computer. Every few years EVERY anti-virus software glitches your computers. This year this version of Total Protection has been a headache just short of a TOTAL NIGHTMARE. It automatically loads what IT THINKS IS RIGHT FOR YOU, then makes you change all the settings AFTER, instead of letting you do a custom installation to start. Somehow my Internet websites access got totally blocked. I have to admit the problem turned out to be the date and time somehow reverted to 2002. But I really suspect it was NOT my computer battery going bad. It's McAfee -- along with good ol' Microsoft -- screwing up your registry. This software is supposed to help you. And protect you. Not make you miserable.
