One solid piece of awesome.
Josh Miller•June 3, 2018
Arrived a day early (even with Prime). Great seller. I had tried another short antenna (about a foot tall) because of all the low-hanging trees in my neighborhood; however, I noticed that at 75 mph the antenna would slap against my hood leaving rubber marks on my brand new JL. This thing solves that problem. It's rock-solid and gives a surprisingly good reception considering it's about one hand high. Sirius sounds great, FM range is just a little diminished, but still functional and flawless in-town. Best part is, no more hood damage and it looks awesome. No plastic parts to break, no adapters, and my threads came with loc-tite red already applied. Great job.
BEWARE OF BUYING THIS!!!

BEWARE OF BUYING THIS. If you want the most honest reviews of this, go to the one star reviews and pay VERY close attention to the ones that say that it broke off inside their antenna holding. That is exactly what happened to me and, since it broke off inside the holding, I can't even put my OEM antenna back on. Plus, since this has "anti-theft" bonding compound on it, it's pretty much stuck in there, leaving me with a permanently broken antenna. For the few seconds I had it on loosely before attempting to tighten it, I also noticed the reception was HORRIBLE. For the price (which is considerably more than other aftermarket antennas) I would have expected more and am EXTREMELY disappointed with the product.
so I’m really happy with it

Just installed it on my JL and I was worried about the reception, I listen to Bluetooth and XM 98% of the time but it's that 2% I want to listen to the radio and thankfully I get all the FM channels. I get zero reception for AM but I never listen to that, so I'm really happy with it! And it looks cute! That large antenna always got on my nerves with my JK. But thankfully that resolved.
Reception

Looks Insane!! However, it blends in and is subtle, if that makes sense! Maybe because it is almost the same color as my Jeep.
My wife thinks that it is too extreme but...she isn't a Marine!! Yut!!
Reception is great compared to stock antenna. However, I've only had it installed for a week. I love the look and happy with the performance!

Very easy to install

Very easy to install. Not as inductive as the OEM antenna, but we mostly listen to Sirius/XM or stream from our device. We will see if it changes when we actually swap out the radio to something not as plain. I have noticed if the vehicle is facing just the right direction with just the right combination of blockage, the SiriusXM signal occasionally is blocked. Not end of the world, but slightly annoying. What you can you expect though. I'm not sure that Sirius actually used the stock antenna either. Typically it's a different antenna.
Nothing to do with the Antenna but I wish the mount was a little higher. You can't even see the antenna unless you on the other side of the vehicle.
