Great little pedal
b1x3r•January 29, 2018
Great little pedal. Sounds way more expensive than it is. Very comparable to a micro/nano POGs or other Octave pedals that are much more expensive. The Swell feature is super cool as well, which you don't get with the smaller POG pedals. Can be noisy if its in a power supply that is shared with a bunch of other pedals. After I isolated mine on its own power supply, it is now very quiet.
Very noisy pedal

I'm not sure if I just got a faulty model, but the pedal I received is incredibly noisy. I've seen reviews on YouTube where it doesn't seem to be noisy, but this was not the case for me! Even if I power this pedal by its own 9v pedal cord, straight from the wall, it still adds very prominent noise to the signal chain. Not even a hum or a hiss, just a straight up loud sine wave. It obviously comes from the octave controls, because the sub and upper control makes it louder and softer, but still doesn't go away with them all the way down. Unfortunate, because it sounds cool and tracks well, just can't get rid of the noise. Will have to spend the money to send this back.
Noisy circuitry that doesn't go away when switched off.

I returned this pedal as it had a nasty buzz. When first powered up, the pedal is fine, very quiet. After you click the switch to 'on' mode, the static noise begins and will not go away until you unpower the unit and start over. You can turn the unit off and on all you want, the noise will not go away.
I am very experienced with electronics and tested this every way I could without opening the unit up. Different cords, power supplies etc.
The octave sounds it produces are pleasing and could be useful for certain kinds of music it if weren't noisy.
I returned it.

Good addition, saves space!

This is an awesome little alternative to the pog with a little extra awesome swell feature at 1/3 the size. Stacks with my envelope filter and overdrive to make a crazy synth effect. Little latency but it's easy to adjust to

I ordered this pedal and added it as the 8th pedal on my pedal board. I really dig the octave up and down sounds in the swell mode, however it added a noticeable unwanted hiss/noise to guitar signal. I narrowed the problem down to the pedal itself. Even with the pedal turned off you could hear the noise and the noise would change when I flipped the switch on the pedal from fat to tight to swell. I eliminated the pedal and noise is gone. I either got a defective pedal or it is not true bypass as advertised. When playing at low bedroom levels it wasn't too bad but at higher gigging levels the noise from this pedal was very bothersome. I will be returning it.
