The quality of the hat seems OK and it looks good. Unfortunately, after less than one month of mild use (worn outside for a couple of hours, maybe once every few days), the pompom has fallen off. I'm going to attempt to sew it back on, but it seems a bit silly that it would fall apart so quickly.

There is lining on the inside that provides extra protection.
My only concern is that when you first stretch it, it makes tearing noises (hopefully that is normal and isn't a sign of it already falling apart).
