Excellent scale for the price. If you zero the scale after you set refrigerant tank/can on the pad, you can measure how much is being added to the system instead of having to subtract in real time. I even used it with a 12oz can of R134a. Recommended.

Scale is nice and accurate use it when charging minisplit systems. The only thing that I noticed was that the battery drains when it is turned off and not in use. Since it takes 9v batteries can be quite annoying if it's dead. So I pull the battery out and store in the case when I am done using the scale.

You get what you pay for. This is a cheap scale but prefect for the here and there refrigeration guy/gal. Like the case it comes in and keeps it protect and easy to zero out and the measurements are nice but it only measures oz in .2 which means if a fridge calls for 4.75 oz you'll have to charge to 4.8

Did not like the display shutting off before completion, however the scale is still on, hit the on button the display comes back on still working, Now I believe on completion when the digital readout is on THEN hit the off button then the unit shuts "OFF" then the battery will not drain by being in SLEEP MODE...
