Blown away!
Just a guy✓ Verified Purchase•September 15, 2023
Wow! Very few times have I opened an Amazon package and been blown away because the item was so much nicer than what I expected.
This was one of the times! The spool of thread is gigantic, 6 needles, and the tool is made of nice quality materials that will last the user a lifetime!
The size and heft of the tool make it feel substantial in the hand which lends to the confidence I have in it.
Very nice product!

Quality stitching

Quality product! Built for longevity. Instructions are blurry and hard to read, at least the ones that I received in my kit were. However, lots of really good YouTube videos on how to stitch with an awl.
Worked great!!

A little learning curve at first, but got better as I went along (nothing i would want to do for a living). The brass pin is plenty sturdy to hold the thread. Sewed some missing stiching on a towable tube, thick shell and nylon straps. worked like a charm.
Took a minute to learn, but so worth it!

It took me a little bit to learn how to use this (and a couple of YouTube videos) once I understood it I fell in love. So quick and secure! After some practice I have gotten pretty quick with it too! Now I want to get into leatherworking! This was initially just for moon bounce repairs but it may have started a new hobby!
Works as described
