I got this bag as I do a lot of bank fishing. I have been using a small backpack but got tiered of constantly putting it down on the ground to get into it to get lures, hooks etc. then I saw this.
What I like about this is that it not only is a shoulder bag, but is a waist bag. Ok, fanny pack, but for fishing. Holds several boxes of tackle, morning cup of coffee or water, and all the tools I need.
The best thing is the rod holder sleeve. While from the company it comes as elastic, what I did was put a pvc pipe in so that I can easily slip my rod in and out. Now to change lures, unhook a fish, whatever, I don't have to put my rod down risking getting mud or dirt in the gears.
And it is built super well. The only thing that could be inproved is the cord used on the zippers and top to be more cut resistant or hook resistant. I dropped a chatter bait and it caught the rope, just my luck, and had to cut a portion of it open to get it out. So either the rope could be improved or I can stop dropping things.
Love it. Has made bank fishing much easier.

Got it as a fathers day gift. LOVE IT. Big enough to get all the soft baits and lures for bass fishing. Small enough to carry over the shoulder, fanny pack style, or between my legs if on the kayak. Lots of different ways you can clip the strap or remove the strap completely.

Perfect sized bag to keep in auto, or even a Big Truck, for the occasional "HEY, that looks like a good spot to fish !" places you come across now and then.
I keep a 6 ft telescoping rod and reel with 30lb braided on it (longer ones can be used, too), two 4x6 Plano boxes with basic hooks, weights, etc.., and a small waterproof bait box in it, Along with a feel other basic essentials in it (fillet knife, pliers, fish grabber, glove..you get the picture).
Great little bag to have handy for a quick trip, or maybe even a day, at a lake, pond, or river.
