The first one I was shipped did not work. Replacement works perfectly. Unlike some motorized gadgets, it works fine with NIMH rechargable batteries. If you take a moment to make sure you've got the eraser centered in the holder, it erases smoothly. Ergonomics are decent. You can bog it down with too much pressure, but this isn't an A/C powered erasing machine that weighs a pound and costs over a hundred bucks. Case and brush are nice extras.

I'm impressed! Wasn't sure if a power eraser was going to be a waste of time and money but I'm very happy. The small eraser is perfect for erasing tiny places in my sketches. If I need a smaller point I just run it against some sandpaper. The eraser rotation is at the best speed for the job. I wish the power button were closer to the eraser. It is a little awkward to operate. It came with loads of extra erasers of both sizes. Enough so that I won't need to be buying replacements for years. It came with a very nice pencil pouch that fits everything.

Beyond thrilled to FINALLY have found an electric eraser with a SMALLER THIN NIB for erasing in-between tiny lines. It's a GREAT addition to my eraser supplies doing art assists. THANK YOU! Highly recommend! *Also I was happily surprised with the packing. It comes in a really nice cloth zippered case that includes the electric eraser, 2 sizes of nibs, refills and a small brush and batteries.

Off/On switch doesn't work properly, turns on by itself hard to shut off also stop running when using and you apply the least amount of pressure on paper, motor is too weak.

Does a great job with colored pencils

This here wasn't a need, it was a want and I'm glad i gave in. I use oil/wax based colored pencils and i barely needs to touch the paper to remove the color. Of course the darker or brighter your color is the less effective it will be, just as any eraser. I have carpal tunnel and arthritis so anything that saves me from gripping tightly is welcome.
It comes with a lot of extra large and small erasers, a brush, a bag but no extra small plastic eraser holder. This is the only reason i gave it 4 stars.
EDIT 3/24/18: I am editing this review to reflect the incredible customer service i received. In my opinion customer service is just as important as product and these folks do customer service very well. My original rating was 4*, i changed it to 5*. Thank you Miranda and AFMAT.
