Portion size is a perfect once a day supplement to dry food. Ingredients seem to be high quality and as far as the taste goes, it's kind of hard for me to say but my cat loves it. I like the trays that it comes packed in for keeping my cupboard organized. The little container is very light however and my cat was pushing all over the kitchen and not finishing it all since it was so hard for him to get to the bottom. I ended up using a Dremel to carve out a hole to hold the tray in place. Now it stays in place and he is able to finish the entire portion. I've been feeding these to my furry friend for many years now and he is very happy with them and I love the ease of use. No need for a dish. Just swap out the empty one from yesterday with a fresh one at feeding time and we are good to go. I have a tuxedo short hair and he prefers the cuts over the pate. I highly recommend these to anyone looking an easy, nutritious way to feed their cat.

My cat loves Sheba! I love this packaging because you get a fantastic variety for an amazing price. This lasts us quite awhile, without the cat getting bored with his food. I keep this on auto renewal to make sure we're always in stock. Above all else, amazing quality food.

My boys like it very much. Portions should be a little larger. Biggest complaint is the foil opening. It's advertised as being "easy open". However, every time I buy this product I swear I'm not going to buy it again because it is quite difficult to pull the foil to expose the food. I always end up using a knife and cutting it open. So, I keep buying it but not on a regular basis (maybe once or twice a year hoping it will be easier to open. IT"S NOT but I keep trying).
I actually emailed the Mars Co. (manufacturer of Sheba) stating my dissatisfaction and received a response the very same day stating my comments will be forwarded to the Quality Dept. I was impressed with that. Hopefully, improvements will be made

My eldest kitty is nearing 15 and minus a few teeth, meaning that she now has a hard time eating crunchy, dry food. On a mission to find her a new, suitable wet diet, I started purchasing different brands and varieties left and right. I came across these Sheba Perfect Portions pates with fingers crossed. After a few weeks of feeds, here are the pros and cons I've found.

The pros are that my picky kitty loves the flavor and absolutely licks the bowl clean. Also, the portions really are perfect for her and there is never any worry about having to store any left over open food. The cons are that the packaging is absolutely terrible. Half the time when I'd snap the two portions in half, the foil would tear awkwardly opening both sides and leaving me scrambling to store a serving for later (something I was trying to avoid for simplicity's sake). The other half of the time, even if I snapped the portions cleanly, getting the foil off was a pain and a half. I spent more time struggling to open the foil and not get the juice everywhere or spill food on the floor than my cat spent actually eating it.

In the end, I decided to go with another brand in a can and a universal cat top to store between feeds. Not ideal, but easier than fighting the Sheba foil packaging. But if the packaging was updated a little to make opening less of a struggle, I'd switch back in a second! If you don't mind wrestling with foil and cleaning up spilled juice, the food itself is a hit with the kitties! Only recommend for now if you like your cat food experience to include a free workout.

My cat enjoys Sheba wet food. He prefers the Turkey flavor over the other two (his exact ranking from best liked to least liked is Turkey, Beef, Chicken). The Chicken flavor smells terrible and not at all like chicken. I think the quality of that flavor is not up to par with the other two. My cat rarely finishes this flavor in one sitting. Often, I have to mix the Chicken with one of the other two flavors.

The pate texture is perfect for my aging cat, who has bad teeth and doesn't drink water that often.
