This is a really great desktop easel and priced well. The only thing I would change is one more slot to allow for one lower slant. I'm very pleased with this product.
Solid, but I still cut one more anchoring point for a flatter angle.

Generally very nice and sturdy, beautiful wood and design is adjustable. Recommended. However I needed to cut one more (flatter) adjustment point to get the correct angle for my sit/stand art desk. Fortunately, cutting (even this strong) wood was pretty darn easy "” I shouldn't be complaining. Actually I could have cut even one more adjustment option, but it was not needed for my desk.

I've use this collapsible easel when doing watercolors, but it could also be used for drying or even just writing if you want to be at an angle. And the angle can be adjustable from very slight to fairly upright.
