Poorly made item. Motor is loud and irritating. Wanted a peaceful fountain with the sound of water. It makes no water sounds and the motor is so loud

At first he motor was louder then he motor, which was not what I was going for. After running a couple of days the motor got silent and I could hear the falling water

I bought this item to bring a little "zen" to my workplace. Unfortunately, the hum of the pump is louder than the water trickle. The light isn't as bright as is pictured, and there is no on/off switch. I have to dig behind my desk to unplug it. I don't necessarily want to return it, but for the price am a bit disappointed in the quality. If I wanted cheap I would have went to the dollar store and picked one of these up!
