Rock solid kids' glove!

Great glove! This is a kids-sized glove - I guess if you're an adult with tiny hands you'd fit into this. But it fits my nephew perfectly. He's 11.
I like the feel of this very much - I'm jealous - when I was a kid I got an adult sized brown leather glove for my birthday from my uncle. Don't get me wrong, I loved it. But this glove is way cooler. It's kid sized, it has an awesome red-white-and-blue color scheme going on. It has great action and is nice and soft inside. Rock solid kid's baseball glove!

This is a fine mitt for the price. It's clearly not a high end glove, but for the casual player it definitely gets the job done. It's definitely way more broken in than a typical glove, though it could still use a little more breaking in once you get but. Still, you can definitely take the tags off and go play without a problem. The color scheme is okay- red and navy blue with white laces, if you are looking for something snazzier than the standard brown or black glove. The material is clearly a faux leather, but it's pretty soft and not very plastic-y. There is an adjustable thumb loop which is a nice feature and a faux fur lining on the part of the glove that goes on the bottom of your hand (where is says "Franklin"). I did have an issue with the faux leather rubbing on my wrist at first, but the problem has faded the more I've used the glove. I think this glove is a pretty good value.
Fine for beginners.

This all synthetic glove is fine for beginners, but you will probably want to switch to a leather glove at some point. Yes, this glove doesn't need to be broken in, but it won't develop the personalized feel that a well worn leather glove provides. This is less of an issue for gloves this size since the child will need to get a larger glove eventually anyway. The construction is very good and the material seems to hold up well, even after getting wet (it doesn't stiffen like a leather glove). Stitching is secure. The only adjustment is for the thumb. Sizing seems correct and the fit is comfortable.
Great choice for a tight budget and/or a casual small player

This is an exceptionally good baseball glove for such a minimal price. The synthetic leather is of very good quality. Decent combination of protection and flexibility. A little stiff at first, but will break in some (but not as much as a real leather glove would).
Very wide glove and not super broken in - great quality but a bit tougher for a new baseball player

My son who is 11 got the medium sized one and it seems to be about right on him, with a little growing room. I'm honestly not sure what to think about it. It has more a feel of a catcher's ball than a regular field glove... it's wide and it's soft and somewhat flexible, but not really flexible to catch them easily without breaking it in. So although I do love the quality and it will be a great glove at some point, it is really made for the catcher or 1st baseman/shortstop with it's different shape. Once it's broken in it will be more versatile.
Quality wise it's great and very attractive too with the bright red and blue. Probably not the 1st glove I would have chosen but it will be great for my other son, a little younger, who seems to excel at catcher.
