who knows if it actually does what it says...seems kind of thin (the metal fabric on bottom.) you can kind of see through it.

I'm a grandma, not likely to ever be pregnant, but with neck issues I can't lift my arms at my sides use a desk laptop. It has to be on my lap and now I don't have to worry about the EMF exposure which isn't good for anyone! Its a bit warm for summer use, I wish it could be made into a cool top cover type of item. But I just ignore the warmth in the summer months.

I use this blanket under my lapdesk, on which I have my laptop. I had tried using another laptop "guard" underneath, to supposedly absorb the emf's, but it wasn't working; I still got "jittery" after using the laptop.
with this blanket in place, over my lap/legs, as far as it reaches, which isn't far, it does seem to make a difference. I don't tend to get the "jitters" in my body; it does still happen sometimes, but I may be more sensitive to emf's sometimes than other times.
I also use it under the heating pad when using it on my tummy or other places, and often just have it over my lap when watching tv, knowing that emf's are all over the place, between the tv, the speakers, the lights, radio, etc that I have around me.
I like that it's fairly light-it doesn't weigh much on my body, but I can still just use it as a blanket-to some exteent-if I don't need much warmth.
I should point out that I use it diagonally on my body, so I have the greatest length-from corner to corner, so it can actually fit from my belly down to my toes.
I recommend this for more security or peace of mind when using any electronics
