Headache Inducing but Cute

I like the comb and it is easy to use. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because when I fasten it, the pull of the comb gives me a headache after about 30 minutes. I have worn it un clipped and that feels better on my head. Overall I like the clip but I won't be wearing it as much as I initially thought I would. I have 3C/4A natural hair and have been natural for 3 years so length and thickness over here.
Also good for managing real mohawks. Thanks!

Strong and durable, and great concept.
I especially like the way it pulls back hair but keeps it close to the neck, versus an elastic that bunches all the hair in one place that creates the strong lines of a ponytail.
My hair is long and straight, but shaved at the sides: a long-haired mohawk, basically: I look pretty "normal" with hair down, but hair tied up looks pretty aggressive. I use this comb if I need hair out of the way, but with a much softer look than a ponytail or braids will allow.
Since I only have about a third of hair grown out, got a medium. Perfect size.
Its a strong hold, but won't endure an athletic situation. Like most combs/clips its a bit harder to stash away when you're on-the-go.
The things I don't like about it is just personal preference: The shininess of the (black) string wrapping bothers me. I also dislike the shiny black bead. I got the color I thought would blend best against my dark hair, but those two things really make it stand out. It also gives this comb insect-like qualities. Brr.
I do still wear it, but not as often as I'd like. If a less reflective version with matte-finish comes out, I'd definitely get one :D

I want to love this, but it doesn't work for me. I bought the large and can't get all my hair in it (I have long, thick, wavy/curly hair), nor does it stay up once I've clasped it. I've read the instructions, watched YouTube demos, and tried repeatedly, but unless I'm just completely incompetent, it's not working. Very disappointed -- I spent more on this hair tool than I ever thought I would, and I regret it.
