I love this planner

This is the second time I've purchased this planner and in the past I have had a hard time finding one that worked perfectly for me. This one is good quality. I like the hard cover and the fact that it has the elastic to make sure it stays closed when I toss it in a bag. I also appreciate the pen loop so I always have a pen handy when I need to write something down. It held up very well over the last year and I have had no issues beyond one of the bookmark ribbons coming out when I accidentally pulled too hard on it, but I was able to tape it back in place and continue to use it. I can't quite tell if the attachment point has been changed in the new version, but it might be room for minor improvement in the future to sew the ribbons in more securely. The layout is really nice and strikes a perfect balance for me in the inclusion of both half-hour time slots for appointments and space for notes and goal setting and habit tracking. I didn't expect to love the habit tracker section as much as I do, and I have really used that a lot to prioritize my actions for the week and to build healthy habits. The 2020-2021 version has some minor updates, like font and proportions. I do appreciate that it has slightly more room in the habits section now, as previously it could be cramped trying to write everything in there and that is fixed in the new version. I'm not as enthusiastic about the changes to how Saturday and Sunday appointment slots previously were in 1 hour increments from 6am to 9 pm and are now in 2 hour increments from 6am to midnight, but someone else might be really happy with that. Overall, I would highly recommend this planner to anyone looking to strike the balance between having full day columns to schedule appointments and also being able to keep track of priorities and goals and organize the rest of your life.
I’m picky & didn’t expect to like this as much

I love this planner without dates (you can fill in dates for months/weeks that you're tracking and skip weeks/months too). I like that I can put my Personal s-t and l-t Goals & Ideas here (those I wouldn't necessarily put on my online Outlook calendar). There are 3-4 main sections (annual, monthly, weekly + brainstorming/notes/ideas section). I like setting personal goals & misc ToDos reminders here and tracking the many little things I still manage to put down on occasional post-it notes. In the weekly section, I like listing 4 habits to be mindful of and work on that week and checking those off each day. There is space for setting your goals or to dos (far left column) as well as daily columns (to the right) to schedule or track progress/updates. There are also spots to capture gratitude and look back and learn from the past week and plan ahead for the next week. Really like that it has me thinking beyond the busy activities and scheduled events and make time for longer-term and more personal ongoing goals & track progress in one place. It's a nice compliment to my regular online calendar (which I use to track work & personal events and reminders also). I'll see how long I'll use it along with my Outlook calendar & reminders. Helps that it's January (NY resolutions) and I have fresh goals to keep in mind and plan for. With this style (undated) book, I think I can go at my pace/level of interest and not come back to an empty dated planner later in the year (feels discouraging for me). So far, so good. Also, the planner designers are open to new ideas to make it better. I'll have to give that some thought as this looks pretty good. Picking a fun color like orange or lime green makes it fun/personal and a good reminder to check it also.
Great for people who work M-F in a busy office and need help organizing their mind.

Overall this planner is awesome, and would be best for someone who works primarily Monday through Friday, because the weekends only have a time table until noon. It's also good for someone who doesn't need a bunch of fluff to fill up their pages. It's straight forward and let's you get focused on your work.

Things I really like:
- 3 bookmarks: This is great because you always need quick access to more than just one section of a planner. One for the month, 1 for the week, and 1 for the back pages.
- Habit tracker: A lot of other planners you have to add your own habit tracker in. This one has a legend in the top left corner and each day has a tracker to check off those habits.
- 3 top priorities: Perfect to get those top 3 at the top of your list for the day.
- Pen holder: I like to throw my planner in my bag, and nothing is worse than not being able to find a pen when you need to write something down quick. A lot of other planners don't have pen holders.

Other things I like:
Quotes throughout the book to get you motivated (but not too many).
Back pocket located at the bottom opening towards the top, and is expandable (some other planners have an expandable pocket that opens on the side and isn't practical.)
Sturdy cover
No fluff- clean pages that aren't distracting.
"Victories & To improve" section to take note on what you need to work on the next week (and to celebrate the small wins)

Things that could improve:
- There could be more clear separation on the weekly pages between the priorities, habit tracker, and hours. At first glance it looks as if the 1-2-3 priorities goes right into the 6-7-8-9-etc hours below, but it doesn't. The two sections are separated by the tracker, but the tracker has 1-2-3-4 and could just use maybe a thicker line between the 3 sections.
- Notes section is small and could be a bit larger; could decrease the amount of hours per day to make more room. The #s or hours under each day could be taken out and in their place put blank boxes (such as the monthly pages have) for people to fill in their own hours. Some people start their day at 4am, and some don't start until 10am or later. Having blank spaces to write in their times could make this work for more people.

Lastly, I'm assuming that you would come up with your own way to calculate your daily score, but it doesn't give a suggestion or recommendation to calculate it- just a space for the score.

Thank you!
Solid Collegiate Planner

General purpose of this book in my experience thus far: It's worked incredibly for my semi-unpredictable yet semi-habitual college life. That alone makes this 5 stars for me. Here's some more details in regard to that:

Pros:
+ You fill in the months and weeks. That just makes sense to me to utilize everything it gives you.
+ I believe this planner has a realistic understanding of goals and habits, here's the major things:
- 4 detailed goals a month is achievable.
- Setting 4 habits to try to keep each day of a week is really nice, then you can change them for the next week too if what you tried to do just wasn't working. My last planner only had one for each day. 4 is more realistic, like a bed time, hard lines for when you start/stop work, stuff to not do that gets you distracted, stuff you're trying to promote daily, etc...
- I wan't expecting a week scoring system to be so helpful, but it is, seriously. It allows me to prioritize what's important like habits, working time, and family time with points.
- 3 brief top priorities a day is super useful and concise
+ Has space to write something you're thankful for each day. This is so important to keep your head out of the gutter on a busy schedule.
+ 3 tassles to mark the month, week, and an extra one, which I use to mark where I am in the back of the book. I record how long I take to do things back there.
+ 20ish blank pages in the back. Some are lined, some are totally blank.
+ Ample space for each day in the monthly planning to list out events/meeting/due dates/etc. for each day.
+ Ample space at the bottom of each week and month to add your own custom way of doing some things.
+ Sturdy pages and build.
+ 2 years of calendars in the front so you know where days fall.
+ Elastic band to hold the book shut and band to hold a pen.

Cons:
- The todo list is weekly. Usually I have things specific to the day. But there's plenty of space for me to add that to the bottom of each day right now.
- The cover material likes to mildly collect oil (from your hands). It's not terrible at all, but not sure what this will be like long-term.

Opinions:
+ Love it's solid and no pandering feel. Black with a neat and subtle compass on the front. There's just a few quotes, some important stuff emotionally like gratitude for each day. Everything else is utility for time management. Yet it doesn't feel like a soul-less business planner.
? Starting the week on Monday is a little wack but I quite like it, because that really does feel like the beginning of the week as we Americans go back to work Monday.
? Condensing the Saturday and Sunday works well for me, but may not for some.
- My days start at 8 am, not 6 am, so I rewrite all those numbers. Maybe they should be fill-in's to?

Overall: The design of this makes it VERY WORTHY for $30 a year. This better still be around next year when I come back to buy another.
Super cute its worth it!

Love it. It's super cute and love that it has 3 different bookmarkers for the 3 different sections and for each section you could tell there was a lot of thought put into it. The only thing is I wish there was more stickers for dates and numbers to use for the weekly and the monthly pages.
