Drilled ceramic easily
MYSTERY LOVER✓ Verified Purchase•October 28, 2023
Needed to drill holes on ceramic wall tiles to hang shower curtail rod . Drilled four holes with smallest bit. As pilot hole. Then drilled out using medium size bit. Didn't use water. The pilot holes took a little effort but the larger holes drilled easily . No chipping but I did use tape over holes. I was happily surprised how easy it was.
drilled through tile with ease

I bought these to drill through tile in a shower to install a door. The points on the end of the bit helped with the slipping you will get when initially drilling. After about 4 holes the drill bit was shot (dull), which i expected when drilling through a tile, thin set and into a wall stud. They did exactly what i wanted them to do and the price is great.
Worked great on porcelain tile!

I needed to drill 6 holes in porcelain tile to install a vertical grab bar in the shower for my mother. I was skeptical that these drill bits would work, but for the price why not try. First, I located the stud using a stud detector. Then I covered the area with painters tape and carefully marked the locations checking multiple times. Then, I used the smallest drill for pilot holes. I used a heavy duty corded drill instead of my cordless drill. I also used it in standard drill setting, not as a hammer drill based on Google research. Apply LIGHT/MODERATE pressure and and keep the bit cool by keeping a wet sponge directly under the bit which also catches falling debris. Heavy pressure will destroy the bit as evidenced in other reviews. The bit drilled through the tile smoothly. Then I followed up with one of the larger bits which was larger than the SS screws provided with the grab bar. No chipping or cracking of the tiles and I'm waiting for a second grab bar to come from Amazon. Then I will drill those holes. Both bits used appear to have plenty of life left. Highly recommend these!
Keep the bits wet to keep them lubricated AND cool!

I had a different, more expensive brand get lost in shipment, so I took a gamble on these bits while I was waiting. I used a spray bottle to keep a constant flow of fresh water on the bit and used about half speed on my "1" setting on my cordless drill. The bits showed no sign of wear after 5 holes so far in my ceramic tile affixed to backer board. I'm so happy to have my bathroom project coming to an end!
Gets the job done - Drilling into mirror

The media could not be loaded. I haven't used other glass drilling bits, so I don't have anything to compare, but these got the job done. Drilled through 5/16" mirror on a wall. It took at least 10 minutes per hole - four total. I used a spray bottle with water to keep the bit cool. I set my drill to the low speed setting and used the trigger to keep the speed even lower.
