Great Realiable Test Strips, but Not Always Useable!

I love these test strips and that I can use them in my omnipod pump reducing the amount of things I need to carry around with me. I find these to be extremely accurate and that you get what you pay for. HOWEVER, the one flaw is there are always 2-5 strips that are bent and cannot be inserted into my pump and are plain not useable! This is frustrating considering how much you're paying per strip as it is.

This product is the most accurate on the market. It was originally made by a company called Medisense. The accuracy comes when you have very high or very little results so it might be within 5% accuracy for a sugar of 400 as opposed to 25% on most other Glucometers. Part of the accuracy is it adjusts to room temperatures. I'm very glad I found it. I had this particular unit standardized in my hospital back in the mid 90s after an evaluation by a pathologist where I worked at the time .
Can't recommend it! Malfunctioning test strips!

This company makes sure that 2-5 strips are always malfunctioning in each of their batches! It's super aggravating! I mean these things are an arm and a leg! So nothing makes me grumpier than wasting my money without it being my fault! I know how to use a test strip. So it's not user error. I really hate this company! I need to try another.

Yellow bottle not white. . Says, "UK" on bottle. Results were 20 points LOWER than regular strips in white bottle. I compared results with new test strips I got from my pharmacy and from a brand new Bayer Contour Next ez meter. Both the Contour meter(with its own strips) and my FreeStyle lite meter with new strips from traditional "white" bottle were within 1 point of each other. The yellow bottle strips was 22 points lower.
Work well wth Freestyle light glucometer

I bought these for elderly parent to use with her Freestyle light glucose monitor. Works well with monitor, and also a lot cheaper than purchasing from local Walgreens pharmacy. Seem to be accurate. I would recommend these strips for diabetics, or pre diabetics that occasionally check their glucose level.
