Been using this for a few months now and I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised, it is sturdy and easy to use, I did notice though when I have gloves on that sometimes I dislodge the blade and (self-replacing blades) so I have to adjust it back and lock it down. But compared to other once this has been the best so far, I also noticed my blades tend to last longer.

I bought this knife for opening boxes from Amazon! I was a little disappointed because this knife is way more than I need. It is a heavy metal knife designed for cutting cardboard, not just opening boxes. The bulk and weight make the knife a bit unwieldy for delicate, precise cutting. On the other hand, if you need to cut a box to shreds, this is the knife to use.

Hefty and feels good in the hand. Not overly ergonomic. Smooth action (although I oiled it first). Safe. No opening the case to access blades and risk a cut while tinkering around. In a "market of a million", I think this is an optimized product.
