Nice little heater. Pleasing and simple design. Easy to use. Two knobs, one for fire brightness, one for the thermostat. Single on/off switch. Word of advice: the plastic door handle is NOT a latch, so don't expect it to turn. I nearly broke it off trying to open the door until I realized there are magnets holding it closed. Duh. So far we are very pleased with this unit, although it does make a noticeable whirring sound when the blower fan turns on, which explains the 4 star rating. The fire logs have a nice warm adjustable glow and adds greatly to the coziness of our living area on these cold winter nights. There are many other less expensive stoves, but as they say, you get what you pay for. You will be happy with this one!

Love this little electric heater/kettle. I was recently in Vermont for a trip and I loved the old cabins and stoves. This electric heater is a great way to feel warm and cozy.

PROS:
- The heater is pretty quiet (compared to others I've had).
- Top, door, sides, grill stay cool while heater is on
- Auto on/off to help regulate/maintain warmth without it running constantly
- Design is great -- logs fire, grill everything is really pretty in my home
- Heating element/box is located at the bottom of the heater -- my floors havent got scorched or hot (i do still monitor it -- just in case though)
- Heater is in my family room and does a great job keeping it warm and cozy. My family room is on what I'd consider an average size.

CONS
- I've seen a few reviews about the plastic legs and issues with screws. I've had buy a hand drill to make sure all the legs screw in perfectly. There was just no way to get the screws in securely and evenly by hand --- highly recommend you have a power drill. Although the rest of the product isn't nec heavy duty, i think i would have felt more "confident" with heavy duty legs due to the heating box/element proximity/location.

Since you have asked that I give you a review for this product I am taking the time to do so. I bought this electric fireplace to heat a space of enclosure I did to my home which extended an open screened porch to include my enclosed living room area. The central air and heat system stops at it's threshold but venting does spill over into added space which goes from carpet to tile flooring. I had a duraflame heater/electric fireplace that gave out within two years but I liked the illusion and it heated a small bedroom very well so I to put the same type of heat into my extended living space. It states it will heat up to 400-450 sqft. One unit did not comfortably heat this space of approximately said sqft so I ordered another identical unit for the opposite end of enclosure. My enclosure does have 10 double paned Windows, glass storm door and opens in to original living room and a master bedroom through two sets of French doors. The two units work very well together to keep this space at a very comfortable temp. We have had some temps in the teens and they do well together. So if I was a potential new buyer looking through reviews, I would be confident that one unit would cover 200-225 sqft if the structure was similar and one unit would be plenty for one bedroom. I would be confident that one unit would cover the stated sqft if not too many windows as my space has ( double paned 6ft Windows times 10 and storm door ). I love the warm and inviting atmosphere of a fireplace and these units are perfect for that while viewing snow, rain or sun on a cold day. They are cool to the touch but the blower pours out the warm air!

This is the perfect addition to our guest room! The style is perfect; the shape isn't too big or bulky yet still stands out with it curved design and details. I love how the flames can be seen from the sides and front. The heat output allows for various degrees in a range from low to high heating up the room rather quickly and keeping it consistent for duration of use! Super easy to assemble and lightweight. It took me about 5 minutes from start to finish (including opening the box)! I've received many compliments on the look as well as the performance of this fireplace. The only negative is that it does not come with a remote which would be helpful for guests to not have to get out of bed. However, that lack in feature is overshadowed by the list of positives. I was especially impressed by how quiet the fireplace is even when working at full heat. Absolutely love it!
