Just awesome. My old softener was going bad and started to leak. We looked at expensive systems like Pelican and Kinetico. They wanted almost $5k for a full set up including softener and iron filter. After reading a bunch of reviews and Youtube vids, I decided to give this thing a whirl and save over $4k. Really glad I did.

Set up was pretty easy, but I bought the shark bite water softener hoses to avoid having to do any soldering. Do yourself a favor and follow the youtube install vids for this. Super easy. Water quality is great and we actually have noticed higher water pressure.

Some people complained about having to load the softener tank with resin, but I don't know why. It comes with a funnel and you just pour it in. It's like sand. Mine came with gravel too, so just make sure you pour that in first.

All in all, really happy with this. Had a plumber buddy tell me this is basically the same setup as the more expensive systems and should easily last 10-15 years. The point of these things is to soften the water and remove the iron. This certainly did that. Since I could buy 8 of these for the price of the more expensive systems and it gives the same result anyway, why waste your money? Just get it and thank me later.

Love, love, love!!! We have horrible iron and calcium problems but this cleared them up! I am able to wash my white sheets and towels and have them come out clean and white since we installed this product! My hair is no longer dry and coarse (from the calcium) and orange tinted (from the iron)since we installed this! I have lived in houses with other brands of water softeners which helped with the calcium, but they were never able to remove the iron very well. The toilet had orange streaks where the water came in and the sink had marks around the drain that couldn't be removed. I don't see any of this with this water softener. It is amazing! I would highly recommend if you have water troubles like I did, especially with iron. Don't think all water softeners will produce the same results. This one is is exceptional!

We bought the Iron Pro 2 water softener last year. The softener works great, the difference in water quality noticeable right away. The showers feel great and need less soap. There is no residue on cooking utensils.
Most of our concerns were unfounded:
1. There is no noticeable drop in water pressure. I have 2 filters before and 1 after the water softener. These are 10 inch Dupot blue filters.
2. The water is not salty. Even evaporating the water did not leave salt behind.

One needs to know some plumbing if you want to do this yourself. It is not easy to add the resin. You have to buy the drain line - 1/2 inch inner diameter. The drain nipple faces the bypass valve not the most easiest place to connect. The IN valve leaked when water was first started. But shutting and opening it again stopped the leak for good. It is awesome that the water usage can be measured and even leaks detected.

Works great. We have city water, that comes from a well, so it's still hard water. This is a new building house. We ran from Aug - Dec with no softner. In that short time several of our faucet filters already had scale buildup. So ordered this, as we have a family of 5. To do the math properly, avg 75 gal per person per day. = 375 gallons At a 19gp (325ppm) grain hardness. means we need 7125 grains per day. For a 1 week charge we need 49,875 grains. So this provides enough capacity. I am not sure how much salt this unit needs to generate that much grains.

Unit arrived, although 1 out of the 4 boxes did not make it from UPS. We contacted abundant Flow Water systems and they had another one out the next day. Setup of the unit is straight forward. Just follow the directions from the manual they send.

One note: To enter into the advanced programming, the Unit HAS to say 12:01 I had already programmed the clock, so was only getting user programming mode. To get into the advanced, just set the time back to 12:01.

The most complicated sections are the discharge setup and the valve that has to be Pushed into the meter. Besides that it's relatively easy to install in about 2 hours.

It appears to be very high quality and functions just fine. Salt dust when filling cannot attack the control mechanism, as it did in our all-in-one GE unit, that had the control just above the salt tank. The other thing that impresses me, is the level of caring from this vendor. Needed assistance on programming the unit and (Torry) couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. One could easily sense that his company is committed to highest customer satisfaction.
