This tackle set has a really good assortment of jig heads and baits. Some days (usually late fall or winter here) the fish just get picky about biting. On days like that, having a good selection of baits can the difference. Sometimes just switching to a smaller bait (or a bright color) can entice the finicky bass to strike.
The smallest of these jig heads is .1oz, the largest is almost half an ounce. The smaller baits are perfect for panfish or winter perch fishing. The set also includes four 3" swimbaits. The baits with the red tails should really catch the nice sized bass once spawning season starts. I go fishing with my daughter in the summer and being young, she doesn't have the patience to fish all day for a single big bite from a 10 pound lunker bass. She is much happier tossing a line right off the dock and catching 20-30 bluegills. As long as the fish come quick, she is happy. Some of the smaller jigs/ baits in this set will be perfect for her. The baits seem pretty durable, so I can spend more time fishing and less time replacing her baits.
One thing I noticed about this set is that NONE of the jig eyes were clogged with paint! A lot of times the eyes get painted closed and the paint has to be removed with a needle of a jig eye tool before you can tie it on. Not one single jig in this entire box was like that. Again, that means more time fishing and less time doing something resembling work. Over all, this is a good set with a lot of variety. The hooks are sharp, the eyes are clean, and there is plenty of choices with color & size. Definitely recommended.
