Without question the best stuff to use for slip casting. Mixing is quick and easy. Takes about 3 minutes to mix by hand for a smooth no lumps pour. I've used lots of different plasters and this product it by far the best plaster for sculpture and molds.

Works great
Decent plaster - seems different from plaster in larger bag.

I compared plaster from the 5 pound bag with plaster, from a large bag of the same.
There seemed to be a difference.
The large bag plaster seemed to reach workable stage faster, and that workable stage lasted
longer before setting.
Plaster from the small bag stayed liquid longer, and had a shorter workable period before
setting.
The large bag was much older, if that made any difference - but I can't help but wonder
if the plaster in the small bag is actually USG #1. Especially since it is in a plastic bag with
no label.
