Overall great! Can be a little hard to lift, slight wobble, mouse does not work on surface
AliThom✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 2, 2023
Overall I really like this. It does what I wanted, takes me from ergonomically seated to ergonomically standing in seconds. And it looks nice. I'm 5'9" and there is plenty more room to raise it than what I use.

Three complaints, which wouldn't stop me from recommending it but are worth noting:
1) it can take a bit of strength to lift it. Once it gets going it gets easier but that first inch or two can be hard. That said, it lowers smoothly and easily.
2) it is SLIGHTLY wobbly when raised. Not enough to make a huge difference, but more something to get used to.
3) this is probably my biggest complaint: the shiny surface disables my laser mouse. It just doesn't work without a mouse pad. But the depth of the tray is too shallow for a mouse pad. My solution was to tape down black construction paper, which works but looks a little bit junky. I wish the surface wasn't so shiny where the mouse goes, or it came with an adhesive for R or L that would be black but less shiny that you could stick on.
One of the Better Standing Desks
J.T.✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 16, 2023
I've used a few different standing desks, and most seem to suffer the flaw of being wobbly. Typing causes vibrations that make your monitor shake, which gets annoying. Reviews of this one mentioned its sturdiness. I was skeptical, but I do agree. It is more solid than the others I've used. The underside of each platform had a sharp edge that actually drew blood once as I reached for my mouse. I finally took a file and softened the corners, so now the problem is solved. There are only two things I don't like about this desk. The first is that it doesn't have much depth. My monitors are kind of in my face, and I wish I could push them back further. But it is nice and wide, allowing a full keyboard and a mouse with room to spare. The second criticism I have is that the trench in the middle that's meant to hold a phone or a tablet is just annoying. It doesn't fit any device that has a protective case, and it prevents using the surface for writing. Pens keep falling into the cutout, which is a bit annoying. But my main priority was finding a desk that wouldn't wobble, and this is the best one I've found.
Almost Perfect
A.K. or J.P.✓ Verified PurchaseMay 29, 2023
I had searched over a year to find the perfect adjustable desk or desk top lift for my work station. As I have dual monitors, and an ergo keyboard, as well as wanting to keep the monitors further back, meant I needed something that was deep and had a larger keyboard space. When I found this, I had measured and then hoped that it would work. I will try to breakdown everything for those on the hunt like I was.. hopefully this will make the decision easier.

The good:
- Both monitors fit and are stable.
- The keyboard tray is not under the unit much so I am able to continue to sit and stand ergo without having to back up from the desk (as most cause) with the monitors being too close.
- The keyboard tray is wide and deep so it accommodates the larger keyboard easily
- The lifting of this is assisted, and only has 1 lever on the right side. You still need to use a bit of muscle to raise it, but it is much easier than with no assistance
- The height is fully adjustable, meaning you can lower it all the way down where the keyboard is on the tray and the tray is on the desk/table top, with monitors lifted, and you can go all the way up and can stop it at any point along the way. This means it works for people of different heights, or if you are wearing different types of shoes that make you taller/shorter without having to adjust your body to work with this
- This came in a white color, which was a bit more rare than I imagined, so it looks good with my white desktop
- This is very sturdy, not that you can lean on it, but everything stays in place and doesn't wobble when you type
- Putting it together was easy. It comes with the keyboard tray off, and gives you step by step instructions how to install it, and it was perfectly pre-drilled and ready

The con's:
- The keyboard tray is not movable to go in and out. this means that if you install this so the keyboard is off the normal desk, it will always be further out and you cannot adjust it in when you are done or do not want it that way
- The design (like most) is a rectangle, and when you sit with a corner desk, this takes some of the space away. This meant extra measuring, as well as losing some space
- The monitors are still closer than the edge of the desk. If you are like me, and you have your monitor as far back as possible, they will be closer to you. On a plus side. this one had the deepest base and for my monitors, they are only about an inch closer than they used to be
- The keyboard depth is still not far enough away. To make up for the closer monitors, I have had to put a bit of a "tray extender" under my keyboard so it can sit a bit further out so I can stay ergonomic when I sit.
- There is not enough room for the mouse to have good movement. With a smaller keyboard, this would not be an issue, but as I use an ergo keyboard and have it in the middle of my sitting area, the mouse (on the right for me) has hardly any room. I got a separate mouse pad that locks onto a desktop to try and compensate. but there is not enough clearance for it to sit either attached to the lifting area or elsewhere to stay ergo. If you use a moving mouse, and need a lot of room, this would probably be an issue with any desk lift, and this is (due to it's size) going to be a better option than most.

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, and with my little adjustments have made this work very well for me, and now stand for half or more of each of my days... and as we know, that is much healthier than sitting. I have also recommended this to some of my co-workers who, like me, wish to stand more or need to have the option to sit or stand through their day. If you need something good in size, depth, is easy to install, sturdy, is able to be at any height... and is not too hard on the pocket book, this is an awesome choice!

Not for the weak
Amazon Customer✓ Verified PurchaseMay 16, 2023
Its a great standing desk however, you have to use all your muscle to bring it to standing. Previous standing desks I have used have hydraulics or whatever so its weightless when you lift it up, but not this desk. Thankfully I am young and strong and can lift it up. Once its up, its great, but beware if you are weaker.
